Guide to destroying vehicles

[SSG Dark]

Scorpion Tank	Weakest spot: The engine vent on the back. Damage is tripled if taken in this area. It takes one Laser shot to blow it up if it hits this area, one full sniper clip, a single rocket, or three Plasma Launcher bombs. (Each of the 3 bombs must land on the vent exactly) Weak spot: All 4 of the treads. When the treads have armor on them, they take normal damage (which is to say, very resistant against damage since it's a Scorpion tank) but once the armor of the treads are shot off, that particular tread will take double damage from everything. * What it takes to blow away a Scorpion in the treads (ASSUMING THE TREAD ARMORS HAVE BEEN BLOWN OFF): One Laser blast, A sniper clip and a half, two rockets (the first rocket will very heavily damage the vehicle) four Plasma Launcher nades. * There is a tip in-game that says to shoot the cockpit of the tank (where you drive it) but it does NO extra damage. However once the canopy of the cockpit is blown off, you can do 100% damage to the actual person driving it if you hit the person directly. Alternately there is a very small gap where it's possible to hit the driver without having to pop off the lid. Damage resistant spots: The Scorpion cannon seems to take less than half damage (one strong mofo). It will take four rockets on the cannon to blow up the tank but the third rocket will be blowing up the cannon. It'll take three laser shots, twelve (you read it: TWELVE) Plasma Launcher bombs, or TWENTY-EIGHT sniper rounds to blow up a tank if you keep hitting the cannon (whether or not the cannon is blown up or not - keep that in mind! If you blow up the cannon, don't start shooting where it was, the less than half damage multiplier still applies to that area!)
Wraith	Weakest spot: The spinning Power Core on the back of the vehicle that creates the boost and acts as a battery for Plasma Mortars. Damage is actually quadrupled. It'll take just a single Sniper shot to blow it up if it hits here, a single Laser shot, two rockets (first rocket will very heavily damage the Wraith), or just two Plasma Launcher bombs. Weak spot: The unarmored parts of the Wraith. It takes approx. 1.5x damage in these areas. Since it's a fraction I can't accurately count all the rounds it'll take for weapons to kill it from here, but nonetheless, if you see the back or side of the Wraith, shoot it. Damage resistant spots: Everywhere with purple armor. You'll be doing less damage to a Wraith if you hit it in the front with a Sniper than if you hit a Scorpion in the front with a sniper. I haven't found out the exact number, but since it takes 32 sniper rounds in the purple area to blow up a Wraith (and it takes 28 to blow up a Scorpion in the center armored area) it takes 1.3x less damage than a Scorpion, or around there.
Ghost	Weakest spot: The Plasma Gas Tank on the middle bottom left of the vehicle. It'll take 1 sniper shot, 3 DMR shots, and one Plasma Launcher bomb to blow up the Ghost if they hit this little tank. Weak spot: Everywhere without purple armor. The Ghost takes 1.5x damage from these areas. Damage resistant spots: Everywhere with purple armor. The ghost takes .5x damage from these places.
Warthog	Weakest spot: The engine in the front of the vehicle. Once all (read it, ALL) of the armor on the engine of the vehicle is off, the Warthog will start taking triple damage from every round that hits the Engine. It takes two sniper shots (once the Engine is fully uncovered) to blow up the Warthog if the rounds hit the Engine, and just one Plasma Launcher bomb. Fun Fact! Once the Engine is on fire, it takes another 1.5x damage, that makes 4.5x damage! Hit that Engine! Weak spots: The tires.They take 1.5x damage. So if you have a DMR and you see a Warthog that is very heavily beat up but its engine isn't uncovered, don't shoot the driver unless he has his shields low or down, shoot the tires! Damage Resistant spots: Everywhere with green armor. The Warthog takes .7x damage from these areas (coincidence?). It doesn't matter if the armor is blown off, the driver and the vehicle seem to take the same amount of damage as if the armor was still there, so it's kind of like the thing with the Scorpion cannon.
Falcon	Weakest spot: The wings and the propellers. The Falcon takes double damage from these areas. It'll take: five Sniper shots, four Plasma Launcher bombs, or a single Laser blast to blow up the Falcon if they hit these areas. Weak spots: Underneath the Falcon. It takes 1.5x damage from this area, so spray dat -blam!- with the Warthog turret! The cockpit also takes some extra damage, slightly more than 1.5x but not exactly double. Needs further testing. Damage Resistant spot: None in particular, however it is a vehicle so it takes less damage from weapons overall.
Mongoose	Weakest spot: The whole thing is weak except for the area with colored armor (around the driver seat)! You could test this for yourself: Get a friend and go drive a Mongoose. Drive up to your friend and let him shoot the front of the Mongoose (but not the area with colored armor!) with a DMR and you will take almost as much damage as if that shot had hit you. That means it actually takes six shots from a DMR instead of five to kill you, if the sixth shot hits you in the head. Weak spots: Tires. Same damage multiplier as Warthog. Unarmored areas take .09x damage, (that's less damage than if you hit the tires) so hit those tires if you can! Damage Resistant spot: The area with colored armor (it's around the driver seat and it's all red/blue or green, etc). The Mongoose takes 1.5x LESS damage from this area.
Shade Turret	no weak or strong spots, but they are fragile.
The Banshee	no weak or strong spots, but it is fragile. Team-shoot it with DMR's.
Revenant	The Revenant has no weak spots however it is a vehicle so it takes less damage from all weapons. With it's sides being open it's easy to get shots onto the driver or passenger

Nice find Dark. I think they have done a good job at making sure vehicles don't rule the field anymore. Which I am down with while enemies are shooting me in the butt...but very against when I am the one doing the shooting. Lol

Very nice find, those random bold statements threw me off to what he was talking about (I thought they were heading titles lol) but this is a great write up and awesome information.

Maybe clean it up a bit and get rid of the random "Defend Burgertown", "This is sparta", etc. nonsense? I highly doubt this guy will ever read his post at SSG so I don't think he'll mind you cleaning it up for him

Playing around with the sniper and no one on the ghost I blew it up in one shot...

Revenant weak points are the sides as the driver is very exposed. Also, there is no armor on passenger side so it hurts the driver no matter where you hit it in the passenger seat. I did a small amount of tests, so if anyone wants to confirm/reject then please do so.

This is great, Dark!

Another weak point on the Scorpion can be taken advantage of if you are a sniper. If you have a good vantage point you can scope the top of the Scorpion. You should be able to see a small amount of the driver's armor color in the lid just above the driver's seat. Shoot at the armor, while sometimes it take two shots to pop off the top, it usually only takes one if done correctly. Then you just snipe the driver in the head. This can give you more sniping chances as well, since the enemy team will keep piling into the driver's seat while you are continually sniping them out. You could also shout out to teammates that the Scorpion is open for grabs, but I would not suggest this as they would be open to snipers as well.
