Most definitely. Every time I've been in the raid I've only received ascendant materials. I want some raid gear soo bad!

We have to finish the raid to get the gear. And finish it on hard to get the raid helm.

Does the legendary gear from the raid have any Light benefits that the other Legendary stuff doesn't have?  I don't think it does...

Well it does say the Raid gear gives the same Light benefits as exotic. Meaning you should get more light from a full set of Raid gear rather than legendary.
